[That's kind of a relief. He would've expected the information to be in there, since Aurora was the one who provided him with this choker. This realization makes him hesitate for a few moments -- since Connor doesn't know, it's dawning on Accelerator that he doesn't actually need to tell him. He could keep details surrounding the choker to himself. For once, he actually has a choice in the matter.
That's pretty rare.
But then, the entire reason he's been withholding certain things about it is because it's both a huge vulnerability, and because he doesn't want to drag Aurora into anything. Connor is one of the few people around here where the latter wouldn't be a problem - if anyone's going to be sympathetic towards her it's Connor, so.... it probably isn't a bad idea to tell him. It's like with Asuka, having someone else know in case something happens is a good cautionary move.
(He is refusing to engage with the thought that this requires a level of trust he rarely gives other people. He's just being practical, okay.)]
It's basically a medical device. [He's keeping his voice low, even as they enter the hospital. Once they do, he makes a beeline for the elevator because he's lazy and it's a lot easier to deal with using his crutch than stairs.] It connects me to Aurora's network to support some of my brain functions, because of my damn brain injury. For obvious reasons, it's not something I make public.
