scanning ▸ connor can pick up all vitals (temperature, heart rate, blood pressure, respiration, height, weight, sweat) ie all basic sort of vital signs. those vitals can point to different emotions or illnesses (stress, fevers). this means he can also determine whether someone is human (or a little less human) based on their body temperature.
file info ▸ after he accesses the basementcomputer, he'll be filing away all information on other citizens of etraya. in case you don't feel like clicking, the main focus here is seeing blood type, medical info, overview of a character's personality (including likes/fears/bffs/disliked people). honestly all very similar to what he would normally be able to access when scanning someone at home!
vocal imitation: connor can mimic voices after hearing them. he may use this as a form of advantage later to gain information by impersonating someone.
all of this is super adjustable! if you only want him to know/pick up on some things but not all, that's totally doable. be as detailed or vague as you like. if things change, feel free to PM me, edit your comment, etc.

I'll c/p a bit here that I wrote in Hannibal's permissions for reference with some other details: We don't know exactly how angels interface with their vessels. But we do know some things for certain, like Castiel doesn't sweat or otherwise experience physiological symptoms of stress, fear, etc. such as excreting hormones. He breathes, but he doesn't need to, and he can be stabbed in the heart without being affected at all. His vessel at this point is essentially a soulless, brain-dead body that he is piloting, and all of the involuntary systems are now on autopilot. Paying attention to his expressions is the best way to get a read on how he's feeling. He can be very reactive to situations which actually upset him, but during a normal conversation he'll be fairly stoic.
Whether or not his scan would pick up on his grace residing in Jimmy Novak's (his vessel's) body is kind of up to you... It's a supernatural essence that's made up of highly concentrated energy. There are properties we don't know about it, like whether or not it gives off heat or chill or nothing at all. I h/c that Castiel's body runs hot because instead of being sustained through natural processes, it's his grace itself that's "feeding" his cells and keeping them essentially in a state of suspended animation, but he'd probably only be a degree or two higher than the average human, nothing excessive.

PHYSICAL INFO • Castiel is possessing the body of Jimmy Novak. Jimmy's body is 5'11" and average weight. Jimmy Novak is dead. He can know his blood type, we'll just have to make something up for it. • Castiel's true form is about 1000ft and can be described as a "wavelength of celestial intent". • Castiel is an angel ("just" an angel, ie. a malak, rather than a seraph, ophan, etc.) of the Judeo-Christian faith. • Angels from Castiel's world are supernatural creatures with several powers (detailed below). They are immortal and do not naturally experience human emotion. They tend to require order and direction from a superior, as God made them in this fashion. • Castiel's powers are as follows. Due to his disconnect from Heaven, he's currently incapable of: smiting, healing, and resurrecting the dead. His ability to travel through time has been contained. There may be other minor side-effects. Eventually, his grace will run out, but it's unclear how much energy he will have to expend to cause this to happen.

HISTORY
• He was created by God sometime around 4,540 mya, roughly 4.54 billion years ago. He was physically present on earth when the first life was leaving the oceans. He remained in Heaven watching over the earth until the birth of modern humanity, at which point Lucifer rebelled against God. War was waged in Heaven, but Lucifer was cast down to Hell by God. After this, God disappeared from Heaven and the archangels took over. 2000 years ago, all angels returned to Heaven to await the apocalypse as was prophesied in the Book of Revelation.
• Castiel's commander was the angel Anna. Anna purposefully tore her grace out and fell to earth about 18-20 years ago, and Castiel was promoted to commander of her garrison. • Castiel was tasked with raising Dean Winchester from Hell and aiding him in his tasks from Heaven. • Because his superiors felt he was getting too close to those in his charge, he was demoted. • Castiel was cut off from Heaven and became a fallen angel. This was because he rebelled against orders at Dean Winchester's request.
